Mini Review: Notion

Notion: an organization app used by many language-learning experts to help them simplify and manage their learning journey

  • Slay: Celebrated by polyglots as key to fast-tracking language acquisition

  • Slay: Makes keeping consistent with your study habits exponentially easier

  • Slay: Helps your accomplishments feel much more tangible, almost like checking off a checklist

  • Nay: Figuring out Notion's layout and navigation can be complex

  • Nay: Beginning language learners may find Notion overwhelming without already having an idea of their language-learning plan

  • Nay: The best pre-built templates by other language learners are often behind a paywall

Quick blurb: I am just in the beginning stages of using Notion as previous resources I was browsing to learn about it made it seem overwhelming and complicated. However, I just purchased this template created by YouTuber Elysse daVega with the coziest design that's very easy on the eyes and brain (it's literally titled "THE Coziest Language Study Corner"). I'm excited to spend some time getting all of my target languages gathered into one pleasant, organized space.

Instead of recommendations for this review, I'm listing additional resources for you to explore from more experienced users of the app.
